Gansbaai Shark Trip


Activity Description

Shark cage diving Cape Town – Gansbaai (2.5 hrs from Cape Town), is done in a narrow channel called Shark Alley, which is the open stretch of water between Dyer Island and nearby Geyser Island.
Gansbaai does not experience shark seasons as such and generally have a very high success rate when it comes to shark activity, and have been diving with Bronze Whaler Sharks recently. The total time, from start to finish is approx. 4 hours.
On arrival at the boathouse, you will receive a small breakfast/lunch and a general video of the days’ activities are captured and available for purchase after the dive.

Guests or SpectatorsTimes will vary according to availability and tides, so you may be booked on a later trip if the earlier one is fully booked. All times given below are approximates: * 04.00 – 05.30am: Pick up in Cape Town (Optional) * 07.30 – 08.15am: Breakfast and briefing (overview of day) * 08.30 – 09.00am: Launch * 09.30am: Anchor at dive spot and start diving 11.30. Return back to Gansbaai harbour and transfer back to facilities. 12.30 Transfer Back in Cape Town (Optional)
